Along the way, we can loose that sense, or value of our strengths and our purpose can become diluted or confused so that we become a little uncentred. Yoga practice gives us an opportunity to come to terms with our own humanity, and to explore what our body and mind is capable of.
Through the physical practice of asana, we can discover a connection with our body, developing strength and openness offering us more fluid movement and a feeling of accomplishment.
Through practicing breath awareness and integration of breath with the physical practice, we learn how to pay keen attention to our activity and develop a level of discipline which strengthens our mind.
In the process of being with our thoughts, we learn a great deal about ourselves.
There is so much to be gained through the practice of Yoga.
